  Had a near-perfect meal just before Valentine's Day. Great service and ambience. Lemon-ashed Venison was amazing. The maple old fashioned I had was killer too. Better spot than most restaurants in Van or Victoria.

  Main course meals were well presented and tasty. Service was excellent. Desert was a disappointment and would suggest going elsewhere. Wine prices are steep at an avg of $18 glass. The biggest reason I would not go back to this restaurant is the seats. They are extremely uncomfortable. High step up chairs with no back support and seats that look nice but, because the padding is end of life, it's like being perched on a square toilet seat.

  Out of this world. Amazing food. Great service. Dessert tasting: burned bread ice cream - to die for. Wine pairings are excellent.
